- 01The Suryoyo Family Gathering (SFG) is a multi-day spiritual and cultural gathering created to bring our community together as one family. Through worship, learning, fellowship, and shared experiences, SFG offers meaningful programming for adults, youth, and children of all ages.
- 02SFG is for everyone — individuals, couples, families, youth, and children. Whether you are attending on your own or with loved ones, you will find a welcoming space designed for all generations to grow, connect, and celebrate together. Children 16 years of age and under must be accompanied at all times by a registered parent or legal guardian.
- 03The Suryoyo Family Gathering will take place from July 30 – August 2, 2026 at the Mor Aphrem Center in Paramus, NJ.
- 04Registration will remain open until June 30, 2026, or until the 350-person capacity is reached. We encourage early registration, as space is limited.
- 05Individuals are warmly welcome to attend. While SFG is family-centered, the gathering is designed so that individuals feel just as included and engaged. Children 16 years of age and under must be accompanied by a registered parent or legal guardian throughout the event.
- 06Programming will include spiritual sessions, opportunities for prayer and worship, age-based activities for children and youth, and time set aside for fellowship and community building.
- 07We are honored to welcome a distinguished group of clergy and speakers who will lead our spiritual sessions and workshops throughout the gathering. - 08Yes. Children and youth will have age-appropriate programming throughout the event, allowing them to learn, connect, and grow alongside their peers while also sharing meaningful moments with their families.
- 09Yes. We are grateful to offer programming and support for children with special needs. Children enrolled in this program will be accompanied by a dedicated aide who will assist and support them throughout the event, allowing parents and guardians to attend spiritual sessions and workshops with peace of mind. Information disclosed regarding special needs will be used solely for planning and support purposes and will not be shared beyond the SFG planning team. Families must disclose special needs during the registration process so we can prepare responsibly and thoughtfully.
- 10Yes. The venue is accessible for individuals with disabilities. If you or a family member require disability-related accommodations to participate fully in the event, please contact the SFG team in advance so we can assist with appropriate planning.
- 11All ticket purchases for the Suryoyo Family Gathering are subject to our official Ticket Purchase and Refund Policy. This policy outlines important information regarding registration terms, payment requirements, cancellations, and refund eligibility. Participants are required to review and agree to this policy during the registration process in order to complete their ticket purchase. - 12All participants, or parents/legal guardians registering minors, are required to review and agree to the SFG Release and Waiver of Liability as part of the registration process. This policy includes acknowledgment of participation risks, emergency medical authorization, release of liability, indemnification provisions, insurance disclaimers, and photo/media consent terms. - 13At this time, translation services will not be provided. All sessions, workshops, and programming during the Suryoyo Family Gathering will be delivered in English.
- 14Important updates will be shared via email with registered attendees and posted on the social media as additional details become available.

- 16The SFG Sponsor Program allows individuals and families to support others in our community who wish to attend the Suryoyo Family Gathering. Through sponsorship, donors help remove financial barriers and make participation possible for adults, youth, and children, fostering a more inclusive and unified gathering.
- 17Sponsorship contributions help cover event-related costs for individuals and families, allowing them to fully participate in the spiritual, educational, and communal aspects of SFG. Sponsors may give at any level they feel called to, knowing their generosity strengthens our shared experience of faith, fellowship, and family.
- 18Yes. While online sponsorship is available, we are also happy to accept sponsorships by check or cash. If you would like to give in this way, please contact us using the information on our website, and a member of our team will be glad to assist you.
- 19Yes. Sponsorships are welcome at any time. Donations made during or after the Suryoyo Family Gathering help support both current and future attendees, allowing more individuals and families to experience SFG in the years to come.
